Australia (and New Zealand) gets FREE XBL Gold!

kao.jpg Ok, so I have news that will most assuredly make people in the land down under happy: Y’all gettin’ free XBL Gold. For a weekend, anyways. Starting at roughly 3pm Friday (local time, I assume) and running until 10pm on Sunday (again, I assume that’s local time) all Xbox Live Silver members in Australia will be able to join the big boys and actually get OWNED online.

Like last time, this deal is in celebration of a new release. Last time it was Gears of War, now it’s GRAW 2, which is released in Australia on Thursday.

So, to all four of my readers down in Australia, congratulations. Ya cheap bastards.
