Final Fantasy on the 360 a “completely blank page”

For a while now, we’ve been hearing rumors that there will be a Final Fantasy game on the Xbox 360. Everyone who owns a 360 wants Final Fantasy on the console. But apparently, SquareEnix doesn’t want Final Fantasy on the 360. Straight from the mouth of Square’s Shinji Hashimoto:

We’re developing Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles for Wii. We’re changing the gameplay from the GameCube version. Of course, all I can say about this is “please wait a little longer.” As for Final Fantasy on Xbox 360, it’s currently a completely blank page.

Well, that’s a kick in the balls. I, for one, want to see Final Fantasy on the 360. I will admit that I was a fan of a few of the Final Fantasy titles (VI, VIII, X). It’s just a shame that we won’t be getting one any time soon.
