Kick Ass Ghostbusters Game: MIA!

Remember about two weeks ago when the interweb was abuzz with elation and joy over some videos that shown what a modern day Ghostbusters game would look like, using the Unreal 3 Engine? Yeah, they’re not there anymore. If you were to go to YouTube right now (which I ask you all not to, but rather continue exploring this great 451 community), you would see the following message when you try to watch the greatness that is Ghostbusters:
This video has been removed at the request of copyright owner Sony Pictures Entertainment because its content was used without permission
Sony, you whores. Hopefully Sony looks at the possibilities with this: The reaction to the videos was absolutely staggering; everyone loved the idea of a Ghostbusters game. But not all is lost. Sony and Zootfly are still negotiating over the rights to the franchise. I would have to think that, at this point, Zootfly has the power. I mean, we all saw the reaction to the Ghostbusters footage. Sony would have to realize that this is a game people everywhere are creaming their jeans over.
Never mind people saying “Sony should do the right thing” because this isn’t a matter of right or wrong — this is a matter of Sony making TONS of money! …of course, this gaming coming out on the 360 would be a kick in the balls, eh?
