Lost Planet and Dead Rising keeping Capcom afloat

Sales and operating income were up at Osaka, Japan-based Capcom for the full year thanks in part to Dead Rising and Lost Planet, but net income declined overall.- next-gen.biz
The company said that one major reason for the drop in net income was that Capcom reviewed the valuation reserve for deferred tax assets.
Capcom said that its strategy for Western expansion is on track, noting the North American and European success of Dead Rising and Lost Planet, both of which have sold over 1 million units.
