Gears of War, UT3 headed to the Mac. …wait, what?!

On the most recent episode of Game Head, Geoff Keighley, talking to Epic Games Mark Rein, asked about how Rein felt regarding the accusations by some (*coughmecough*) that Epic Games was jumping the Microsoft ship. Rein replied with this gem:

We’re an independent company and we make engine technology. Don’t forget, we’re also doing Macintosh.

Naturally, Keighley asked the follow-up question:

Gears of War is coming to the Mac?

To which Rein simply replied:

Yes, Gears is coming to the Mac and so is UT

If you need video proof, it’s right up there. This is a very good move for Epic Games, of course, and I won’t raise hell with it UNLESS UT3 comes to the Mac before the Xbox 360. THEN, and only then, will I be really, really pissed.
