Metallica Suing Red Octane and Harmonix? Nope. Sorry.

Earlier today there was a story floating around the internet that had Metallica suing both Red Octane AND Harmonix for copyright infringement. Turns out that this is entirely false, which is a shame considering I had a hilarious photoshop ready to debut for such an event. If you don’t believe me, take it straight from Harmonix themselves.

However, it should still be noted that the members of Metallica are indeed douche bags in every sense of the word, and that a move like this would surprise me in no way. But their music will still be featured in both Rock Band and Guitar Hero III.

…and now we know who the true douche bags are… (Joking, people)

    Aren’t you the guys who posted the fake Sega TGS list from Sega about a week ago? I would suggest that you refrain from throwing stones when you’re stood inside a house of glass.

    And its Guitar Hero III, not II.
