Target Broke the Code, Sold 360 Elite a Week Early!
Look at that image above. That’s an Xbox 360 Elite, as you can tell by the big ass letters on the box that say “Xbox 360 Elite” on it. Well, resting on that ol’ box is a proof of purchase from Target, as you can tell by the slightly smaller picture of a bulls-eye on the receipt.
Apparently, one lucky son of a bitch was able to purchase an Xbox 360 Elite a week before the street date, and now he’s trying to peddle it on eBay! The current bid is at $600 (as of 3:30am EST), which is… most redundant, considering all you have to wait is a WEEK!
Now, the location listed on the eBay page is Chico, California… yeah, I snickered at the town name, too. When reached for comment about the matter, the Chico Target said nothing because, again, this was written at 3:30am EST.
We here at Xbox 360 Rally can only assume that someone is in a whooooooole lot of trouble over this. And good play by Mr. pushkinbeagle for getting his hands on the product. Way to go, dude.

What a lucky bastard! Why do people always have to sell them on eBay though. I would have opened that puppy up right away and started playing. Anxious to see if it stay cooler than the previous versions…
