4000 MS Point Cards on Sale NOW!
Ok, this is a bit much, even for people like me. Right now, the Circuit City website is offering you an uber-deal — 4000 MS Points for $50. Now, I don’t know why you would need 4000 MS Points in one lump sum, and honestly, I don’t want to know. But if you’re the type of guy who spends a TON of time on Xbox Live, then go for it. As for me, that’s a good four or five Arcade games right there — if I could still get on Live, of course.
You know, this could really lead to some problems — here we are, now with a 4000 point card on the eve of a 120GB Hard Drive. Am I the only one who sees the Achievement whores going absolutely bananas and buying four or five of these cards, just so they can download and beat every single XBLA title? Sure, I can see why you’d want to own some, like TMNT, Castlevania, Pac-Man and Time Pilot, but what about the people who buy these cards just to blow them on, God forbid, Gamerpics or themes?
I’m not saying it’s bad for Microsoft, oh no. They’ll be making the money big time on this. But this is also like handing a pill popper a lifetime supply of Xanax — it’s just not going to end well.

This is awesome news! I’m buying a 360 in the next few months and there’s definitely a few XBLA games I want. Way easier than buying seperate cards in my opinion.

Tell me how 4000 ms points is a uberdeal for 50 dollars when 1600 points is 20 dollars. so 3200 would be 40 dollars. 800 points would be 10 dollars that = 50 that is no deal. Also if bought from online on xbox marketplace 12.50 for 1000 points. 12.50 x 4 is 50.00 it’s cheaper to just buy it off the marketplace and not pay as much tax. So yeah that is no special offer that is just a normal offer *laughs at those who think it is saving them money*
