Mill o’ Rumour: Dead Rising Co-Op?

Dead Rising Still Rules!

OK, so Electronic Gaming Monthly has a rumor that they’re trying to spread around, in which Capcom is planning on releasing a downloadable add-on to Dead Rising. This add-on? Co-Op Play. Specifically, Co-Op play that will coincide with the release of Dead Rising on the Platinum Hits line. That’s the good news. The bad news is this: It’s going to cost you some Marketplace Points.

I will say that Dead Rising is probably my favorite launch title I have ever played. Even though Capcom never did fix the issue of being unable to read the text on SDTVs. Regardless, I’d probably pick it back up for Co-Op. If it’s true.

But I remain hesitant. After all, it’s a rumor, and it’s getting close to that… damn day. Can’t wait for 2 April 07, when I can put faith in rumors once again.
