New Releases: February 20th, 2007

New Releases FTW!

Two games for the 360 this week: Luckilly, they’re both highly anticipated games, as well.

Crackdown

You know, that game that came bundled with the Halo 3 BETA. Crackdown throws you into the future, as you play a police officer fighting against crime as you take down gangs in this underachieving GTA-style shooter. But, if you like the idea of leveling your character’s strength up to where he throw cars like pebbles, and leap tall buindings in a single bound, much like a butch Superman, then this game is probably for you. Everyone else… unless you love Halo 3 THAT much, avoid it.

NBA Street: Homecourt
EA’s answer to the now defunct NBA Jam series has returned in NBA Street: Homecourt. Play as your favorite player (Chauncey!) or team (Deeetroit Baaaaske–I am so not cool) on the most famous of street ball courts in some of the most over-the-top NBA action you will find. Hell, it’s at least guaranteed to be more exciting than the All-Star Game.

Finally, I hope y’all like the new and improved “New Releases” logo — made it myself. Thus the watermark.
