We want YOU! …to replace us!

by

Ok, people, here’s the deal — Paco and I are on our way out. We’re taking over at 1PStart.com in an effort to restore it to it’s former glory. …that, and I just plain want to write about another game every once in a while, is that so wrong?!

Anyways, here is what we’re looking for: A competent, capable writer with a love for all things Xbox. Now, by competent writer, we mean someone who spells “you” correctly, and knows when to capitalize. If you can do that, you’re a shoe-in. So, CLICK THIS DAMN LINK, do the required stuff, then get paid to play video games and write about stuff.

…hell, Mike and I did the hard stuff already, and YES, the GTA4 Banner contest will continue, and I will still give you a copy of GTA IV… or something. So, hop to it.

I assume that there is an age limit, otherwise I would totally take your jobs. Still, you were great reporters, and I’ll personally miss you.

  2. Saphrone Seidel Says:

Also I would like to point out that when you go to apply, XBOX 360 Rally is not among the categories that require authors.

  3. JW Says:

Miss us? …we’re going next door. :P Also, it’s not listed yet because this just happened today — give it a week or so. It’ll be listed. Still, file away with your applications, and for the record…

As far as I know, the age limit is 16? I know we have a 17 year-old writing for us somewhere on the network, so I don’t know.

  4. Saphrone Seidel Says:

Well then that’s good, I’ll apply then, I’m totally XBOX obsessed. Oh and yes I will miss you, the Rally won’t be the same without you.

  5. qbix Says:

Who’s going to point us to all those great torrents now!?

  6. monkey1 Says:

I don’t know if that you really needed to be capitalized, but whatever, i would go for it, but one I’m too lazy, and I can’t write alot, if i were to be a blogger my entries would probably be about a sentence long and thats about it.

  7. Taylor Says:

I’m confused as to how I apply? I would really enjoy doing this because I love Xbox but I looked at the website and I can not figure out how to apply. Please help!!

  8. Paul Says:

I’d also say that it’s not just about writing about Xbox, but being able to keep promoting the site. You can’t let it slide back into obscurity or I’m sure JW will kick your ass. I’m glad you guys are sticking with the network. Real glad.

BTW I’m thinking about applying heh.
