Codemasters heading to Leipzig - Gives Us Overlord Split-Screen News

by

Codemasters sent out a nice press release (seen after the break) that detailed a very good news blip about Overlord and it receiving a multiplayer split screen. Adding a whole new multiplayer mode that doesn’t require online, excellent job, keep an ear out for announcements of new game modes, challenges, maps, and chapters of the game too. Go rent Overlord now btw, you are missing out.

In other games, at Leipzig, they will be showing a playable version of Jericho, the Clive Barker made game! Turning Point: Fall of Liberty will also be on display and up for playing, it is a WWII shooter, but this isn’t your Call of Duty type game, it has a twist, Nazi’s in New York! I would be a happy man if they surprise everyone there with a little taste of Rise of Argonauts (and even a happier man if I could be there, Codemasters kicks ass).

Full press release with a little on DiRT for PS3 and Lord of the Rings Shadows of Angmar on PC as well as the aforementioned games below:

Codemasters spotlights stellar line up at Games Convention, Leipzig.

TURNING POINT™: FALL OF LIBERTY

Set in 1953, amidst an alternate WWII reality, Turning Point: Fall of Liberty opens as Nazi forces launch a decimating attack on New York. At Leizpig, gamers will be able to hands-on and play through the game’s moving, action-packed portion of the initial invasion. With Nazi battleships taking the harbour, monstrous Zeppelins filling the skies, jet powered aircraft executing bombing runs, and armed paratroopers descending to the city streets taking New York block by block, players will be overwhelmed with the will to survive and the determination to defend with this new take on WWII shooters.

To be showcased at Leipzig on Xbox 360, Turning Point: Fall of Liberty is also being developed for the PLAYSTATION®3 system and Games for Windows. For the latest game briefings visit www.turningpointgame.com.
